Commission disclosure

Free for you. We're paid by the solar company if you sign up through us. We show other options so you can compare, and the “Best match” label is based on your answers, not on how we are paid.

What this site is

Solscouter provides general information and connects you with a specialist at a solar company. We are not a utility, lender, installer, or financial or tax adviser. Any quote, contract, financing, and installation would be provided by that solar company, under its own terms.

Estimates only

Prices, savings, and other figures on this site are typical market ranges for illustration. They are not quotes or guarantees. Your cost depends on your roof, usage, location, and credit, and solar may not save money for every home. Company names belong to their owners; Solscouter is not affiliated with them unless stated. Tax credits and utility rules change, so check current rules.

Consent to be contacted (TCPA)

By ticking the consent box and sending your request, you expressly agree that Solscouter, the solar company we recommend, and their representatives may contact you by phone call, text message, and email about solar at the number and email you provided, including with automated dialing or pre-recorded or artificial-voice technology. We share your details only with the company we recommend, and with other companies only if you choose to opt in. Your consent is not required to buy any product or service. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out of texts, or email help@solscouter.us to withdraw consent for any channel. You confirm you are the owner or regular user of the number you provide.

Scout (our AI assistant)

Scout is an automated AI assistant, not a person, and not a licensed adviser. It can make mistakes. Its answers are general information based on what you tell it and on typical market data, not a quote, a recommendation to buy, or financial, tax, legal or engineering advice. Please check anything important with the company you are dealing with, and do not share card numbers, passwords or government ID numbers in the chat.

Company names and accuracy

Company names and marks on this site belong to their owners. We use them only to identify the companies, and unless we say so, we are not owned by, employed by or endorsed by them. Information about companies, prices, incentives and rules changes often, so it may be out of date. Check current details with the company and your utility before you decide.

Your responsibilities

Provide accurate information and do not misuse the site. You must be at least 18. Solar generally requires the home's owner to sign, so renters should ask the owner first.

No warranty and limits of liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solscouter is not liable for indirect or consequential damages or for the acts of third parties, including the solar companies we recommend.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
